As a founder and CTO of Lumenogic and NewsFutures since 2000, he has delivered scores of industrial-strength prediction markets and other pioneering collective intelligence software tools developed in close collaboration with our clients: Competitive Forecasting, Idea Pageant, Impact Matrix and Concept Optimizer.
Prior to Lumenogic and NewsFutures, Maurice had co-founded several software start-ups in the 80’s (including TimeSlice, Inc, which sold the first commercial multitasking environment for IBM PCs), and then worked in Sun Microsystems’ Advanced Technology Group for 6 years, before joining Mar?mba, the company founded by the inventors of Java, as chief applications architect. He is the co-inventor of 5 software patents.
Maurice has an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern Business School. His master’s thesis analyzed and measured trading markets’ efficiency when confronted to unforeseen events.
